Music & Movies Monday: August 2026 Ed.

Paris Alexa, Flag Boy Giz, Fana Hues, Premo Rice

As we wrap up the final Monday of the month, artists' music contributions lead to a lengthy lineup of albums, EPs, singles, and concert tour announcements. I've been in a bit of a musical overload, but in a good way. I have been thoroughly enjoying so many new releases lately, and it's been refreshing to hear from the artists who have given us quality content. I was recently introduced to the music of artist Paris Alexa; she has a new single called 'Honeymoon'. I am looking forward to browsing her discography, and from what I've heard so far, you may be interested too. Fana Hues released an EP called "Catch 'n Release"; that "Prolific" album has been in heavy rotation since its drop, and I also recently learned of music artist Premo Rice and the release of his album "Another Night At the Chateau". The Maryland artist's music style is described as a smooth mix of funk, soul, and hip hop.

I had to shout out these West Coast artists before the month ends. Cuzzos dropped their new single 'Can't Pretend', a fun, flirty, Feelin' Myself, Fly Girl, Flossin' riding through the city anthem. E40 still droppin hits you can dance to with his latest with Busta Rhymes, 'Play If Ya Want'. Wallie The Sensei's single 'Rice N Butta' a clever play on his experience with hard times.
