You, Me & Tuscany
Michael
"You, Me, and Tuscany" was such a joy to watch. Halle Bailey’s character Anna was serving looks, and the romantic on-screen chemistry between Anna and Michael, played by Rege-Jean Page, was authentically aligned and served romantic opulence in the vineyards of Italy, bringing the depiction of the characters’ romance to life. The story had all the classic elements of a romantic comedy whilst narrating an original storyline. A definite rewatch and addition to the romantic film archives.
"Michael" was a great biopic of Michael Jackson’s legacy. Although I feel the film was merely a glimpse into the greatness of such a prominent star, the emphasis on his creativity, his heart, and intent highlight just how great an artist and human Michael Jackson truly is. There will never be another like him. His impact will forever reign supreme. There are generations who will never be graced with the privilege to experience him in the flesh but are continuously influenced by the aptitude of his artistry. Well done to the original reigning king of pop.

Jai’Len Josey released her debut album “Serial Romantic” this past Friday. There are a few cuts I was jamming to prior to the album's release, and I was not disappointed in the quality of this body of work, as the album has multiple hits, and her latest single, ‘Love Ain’t Shit’, is in heavy rotation right now. It feels like authentic R&B, riddled with the true sentiments of the phases of love, which, unfortunately, sometimes includes heartbreak. Tank and the Bangas' new album, “The Last Balloon,” is set for release on May 15th, and they’ve dropped their latest single, “No Invite,” which is a poetic, theatrical expression over funk, soul, and hip-hop rhythms and beats. I loved their album “Green Balloon” and am looking forward to the upcoming project. My girl JT is letting it be known she is ‘Numb’ to the b.s. and I love it cuz same girl, same! The single is one of her best, with several quotable bars resonating with those who don’t care to fit in and do what they want without validation, just pure expression, misunderstood, and embracing their villain era!
